About Dr. Pinch

Dr. Stephanie Pinch, Psy.D., is a licensed clinical psychologist dedicated to providing comprehensive assessment and psychotherapy services for kids, expecting/new moms, families, and couples.

Before she was a psychologist, Dr. Pinch worked as an award-winning teacher in Washington D.C. in middle school and high school classrooms. She came to Colorado for her Doctorate at the University of Denver, and quickly focused her training on advanced assessments and therapy to support kids and the family units around them. Her pre-doctoral internship was at one of the nation’s leading clinics at University of New Mexico’s Center for Development and Disability Pediatrics where she did research and worked alongside the country’s leading infant mental health and family clinicians, specializing in autism evaluations, infants and families experiencing trauma, and parent-child coaching. Dr. Pinch returned to Denver to for her post-doctoral fellowship with Birch Psychology where she focused on assessments, family and child therapy, and couples therapy.

After several years in a group practice setting serving hundreds of clients, Dr. Pinch developed her own practice to further specialize in supporting children and families. Dr. Pinch combines her relational skills as a teacher with her research-based and attachment-theory psychological framework to connect with kids and parents, and provide assessment and therapy spaces to understand and address emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. Dr. Pinch is a partner with the Rooted Wellness Denver Collective where she consults with other psychologists and partners for other specialty services.
